Switzerland’s Lara Gut took the top spot at the FIS Alpine SKiing World Super-G race on Sunday. The victory in Garmisch Partenkirchen, Germany squashed Lindsey Vonn’s effort to become the first skier to win 4 consecutive races from the start of the World Cup season. Lindsey came in 3rd overall behind Germany’s Viktoria Rebesnsburg in second. Vonn still remains in the points lead but with 4 races to go in the season Gutt has plenty of time to catch up. Should be an interesting series of upcoming races.
