In this video Telluride County Sheriff Bill Masters shows illegal encampment set off of the Jud Wiebe Trail above downtown Telluride. It’s hard to even call this place a camp, looks more like a public dump.  The trash is so thick in places that the trail becomes almost un-passable. “Can you imagine what the clean up cost of this is gonna be?” Masters said on the video. “Absolutely outrageous.” It’s hard to believe that someone spent their time and energy hiking all that junk up there.
All of this junk above one of the most beautiful mountain towns in the world.
