There are nearly 1 million British skiers and snowboarders and with no slopes of there own Brits must head to places like France, Austria and Switzerland to find virgin powder. The figures from the UK’s largest ski travel agent, Iglu, have just been released showing the most popular ski resorts for British skiers.

The big French resorts have continued to do well with over 30% of British skiers and snowboarders choosing to head to France.

It’s no surprise that the Swiss resorts are less popular with the surge in the Franc. Zermatt has fallen from 11th place to 26th and Verbier from 12th to 25th.

Resorts in Andorra have not yet cracked the Top 10 but Soldeu jumped up to 13th place from 22nd and Pas de la Casa moves form 40th in the poll to 31st .
