This season Big Sky Resort recived the most skier visits in the history of the resort. All told Big Sky had 370,000 skier visits during the 2012-2013 season. This is the second year in a row that the Montana ski resort has seen record skier numbers.

“The consistently good snow at Big Sky is key,” said Taylor Middleton, Big Sky Resort’s General Manager. “For the second year in a row while other resorts across the country struggled to keep slopes open, Big Sky started off with a great base and continued to get powder throughout the season. Skiers go where there’s snow.”

In addition to an overall record season, Big Sky Resort saw a record holiday week between Christmas and New Year’s during the ‘12/‘13 season. On Saturday, Dec. 29, Big Sky Resort recorded its highest number of skiers in one day with nearly 6,000 snow enthusiasts, an increase over the previous record day, Saturday of Presidents weekend 2012.
