This is the most interesting video of this crash yet. It’s in real time which allows you to appreciate how much skill was involved in stopping his spin, regaining control of his wing suit, and opening his parachute after disintegrating his legs.
He gets the parachute open and loses just enough speed to make a survivable crash landing. Then you get to watch and hear him breathing in agonizing pain for one whole minute. Kinda hardcore.
Jeb collided with Table Mountain in South Africa this past January and received many injuries:
JEB’s INJURIES:
– Both ankles broken
– Three toes broken
– Left fibula bone broken
– Tore his left ACL
– Gash in his shin that required skin grafts
– Gash in his thigh that required skin grafts
Check out Jeb’s delicious injuries below:

“This is what it looked like after the graft was put on :)” – Jeb Corliss on March 23rd, 2012

“This wound is taking forever to heal. This is what it looks like today. I got another infection an they had to change the antibiotics again :(“ – Jeb Corliss on April 11th, 2012
Grossed out yet? Not if you’re a nursing student or surgeon. The rest of us, yeah, probably a little.
