Snow Blade Knifing!
Snow Blade Knifing!

Spring is in the air and plenty of schussing is still to be had at Squaw this weekend.  With April showers closing things down yesterday, and a late transition to snow, the skiing today was about as good as it gets for the last week of April.  The two inches of pow was winter buff in the morning and hot, creamy pow in the afternoon.  Combine the two inches with snowlerblades and you can’t help but have a good time.

Squaw Breakdown:

-Chimney open! @heckler #sickest #spot @ #squaw

->Dan the man was the only taker, sending Center Line huge and bouncing a touch

-Reports of a very worthwhile Granite Chief Peak hike

-Cornice II Bowl ripping and buffed smooth

-Tandem snowlerblade worm turns

-Park going off

With only 14 skiable hours left at Squaw for the season, its time to get out there and get some snow sliding done before the fat lady sings!
