
Today was some of the deepest, driest snow I’ve ever skied at Squaw. The stuff was straight magic. 8% density and lots of it. Headwall was ridiculous this morning.
The dog in this video can run up KT-22 from the base to the top station in powder in 8.5 minutes. What’s your best time?
It was supposed to be cloudy today, but the forecasters forgot the basic fact that in California, it’s either nuking or bluebird. Following that rule, Squaw decided to be Bluebird today.

We did get a big warm up today (ambient air temps didn’t get above 33F, but the solar radiation was tearing the snow up) around 10:30am and all south facing snow got cooked. North facing snow stayed good.
