Whistler is a bustling mini-city. There is endless skiing on the mountains and around them, there is even more shredability beyond that. The night-life is well beyond that of a typical ski town, and the community is great. Whistler is also in Canada. This means that one more activity is always happening here. Some skiers and boarders get mighty bummed when the snow conditions are deteriorating as they have been, but in Canada bad snow just means more hockey! This has been surprising to some of our recent house-guests native to Utah and California; it is such a unique sport to them, that one Utah local took the time to film a game.Â
This is a men’s A league game Between Merlins and Amsterdam Pub. Although Merlins got the upper hand in this game, Amsterdam Pub is one of the best teams when they bring their game. So when the weather is stagnant and there is some down time in Whistler, many turn to hockey.
