Spring skiing at Arizona Snowbowl will continue into June.

FLAGSTAFF, Arizona – Arizona Snowbowl has announced yet another season extension, with plans to re-open the mountain for its latest closing date ever on June 1. The resort is currently closed for weekday operations, but will be running Friday-Monday this upcoming weekend (24-27) and will re-open for one day on Saturday, June 1.

For the first time ever, we’ll be open for skiing and riding until June 1st! Conditions are still incredible across the mountain and we’re looking forward to two more fun-filled weekends with all of you!

Arizona Snowbowl initially announced a closing date of May 27 last week, with the intention of saying goodbye to the season on Memorial Day. However, as conditions have remained where they needed them to, the mountain will keep things going one day more.

According to the resort’s social media page, this is the latest ski season closing date in both resort and state history, marking the first time the mountain has skied into June. The Arizona Gondola will be the only lift open both Memorial Day Weekend and June 1.

Lift tickets can be purchased for as low as $19 for the final day, if bought ahead of time. It’s important to note that the mountain is limited to advanced terrain only. Those who aren’t prepared to ski difficult terrain are advised to wait until next season.
