WOW! January 7th was an awesome day. There was two+ feet (50+cm) of snow that had accumulated in the last two days and the trees were banger. Pillow-lines after pillow-lines, drop after drop. Just an all around playful day. I followed my good friend Eliel Hindert around in the trees off Garbanzo Express (because Peak Chair was closed) and skied a new area on Whistler. But get stoked because tomorrow the Peak Chair will be open again. On the down side it appears that the snow is gone for a week. With no new snow we will have a problem for the “Deep” Winter Photo Challenge. Might have to be the “bomb-proof” Photo Challenge. Keeping my glass half-full I am sure my teammates and team leader Andrew Strain will come up with something creative.
