Arches National Park visitors have a new way to reach some of the park’s most popular destinations this fall. The National Park Service announced the launch of the new Moab-Arches Shuttle, a service designed to reduce traffic congestion while giving visitors another transportation option during one of the busiest times of year.
The shuttle connects downtown Moab, Utah, with Arches National Park and also provides transportation between the park’s visitor center and several popular areas within the park.
Free Shuttle Rides Available With Park Pass
The Moab-Arches Shuttle is operated through a partnership involving Grand County, the National Park Service, and the Utah Department of Transportation.
Visitors staying in Moab can board the shuttle in town and ride directly to the Arches Visitor Center. Those who choose to drive to the visitor center can also use the shuttle to reach the Windows Area or the Delicate Arch trailhead.
Rides are free for visitors who have a valid Arches National Park entrance pass. Park passes can be purchased online through the National Park Service or at the Moab Information Center.
The service is scheduled to operate seven days a week from 8am to 5pm through October 31st, 2026.
Shuttle Runs Every 15 to 30 Minutes
Shuttle frequency will vary depending on the route, with pickups scheduled approximately every 15 to 30 minutes. Visitors planning to hike to Delicate Arch should pay particular attention to the afternoon schedule. The last scheduled shuttle from Delicate Arch to the Arches Visitor Center and Moab departs at 4:05pm.
Visitors should review shuttle stop locations, schedules, and routes before heading into the park.
The new transportation option arrives as Arches continues to experience significant visitor demand. Traffic congestion and limited parking have been ongoing challenges for visitors attempting to access popular areas of the park.

The Moab-Arches Shuttle is currently scheduled to operate only through October 31st, giving visitors several weeks this fall to take advantage of the service. For visitors planning a trip to Arches National Park, the shuttle could provide an alternative to driving between some of the park’s busiest destinations.
