BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. — The Breckenridge Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect accused of stealing a snowboard from Breckenridge Ski Resort earlier this month.

According to the Breckenridge Police Department, the theft occurred around 3:17 p.m. March 1st, 2026 at a ski rack near The Maggie at the base of Peak 9, close to the Quicksilver Chairlift.

Investigators say a Nidecker snowboard with bindings was taken from the rack. After reviewing security footage, officers observed a man removing the snowboard before leaving the area.

The suspect is described as a white adult male about 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black helmet, a gray and black winter jacket, light blue snow pants and black snowboard boots.
