There are many bears in the Lake Tahoe basin after the Caldor Fire displaced them. That’s leading to many human-bear encounters, and those always make for a good vid. Even in spite of the fact that dangerous bears roaming around isn’t good for them either.
In this case, it appears that the bear is scared out of its hiding spot in a dumpster by some people who are probably just working on their property. It nearly collides with a man, who happened to be coming around the corner of the building, at the exact moment the bear started running away.
That must have been quite the surprise as he rounded the corner.
Not even Lake Tahoe locals are fearless of wild bears when it really comes down to it.
