The storm rages on across the Sierra and the forecasts are coming true as ski areas in the Eastern Sierra and Tahoe are already halfway to their 5 foot goals.

Right now Mammoth Mountain leads the charge with a staggering 48″ of fresh snow. Mammoth is followed closely by Mt Rose and its sister ski area– June Mountain. Squaw, Kirkwood, and Alpine Meadows all fall close behind with their storm totals thus far measuring in excess of 30″. The storm should last through Saturday night before clearing out on Sunday with 28 degree temps and bluebird skies forecasted. SENDY SUNDAY!
