Pinedale, Wyoming — While not as big a destination for ski resorts in Teton County, White Pine Resort is establishing a new market for those who want to check out a place off the beaten path.

Last week, White Pine Resort announced that it has acquired a nearby hotel. Formerly known as the High Country Suites, the hotel has been rebranded as the White Pine Adventure Inn. The building and rooms have been refreshed, with theming tied to the Wild West and skiing. Amenities include a game room and complimentary breakfast. The hotel also offers complimentary access to a nearby recreation center with a waterslide.

For skiers and riders, a complimentary shuttle service to the ski resort is included. With a 20-minute ride to the ski area, it offers a great place for skiers and riders to stay.

About White Pine Resort

First opened in 1940, White Pine is one of Wyoming’s skiing gems. The ski resort features 27 trails, 2 lifts, 363 skiable acres, and a vertical drop of 1,000 feet. The area also has a tubing hill and a cross-country trail network.

In 2024, billionaire Joe Ricketts purchased the ski resort. Ricketts is known as the founder and former CEO of TD Ameritrade and the owner of the Chicago Cubs. The ski resort rebranded late last year, which included releasing a new trail map.
