Police in Lebanon, New Hampshire received a rather interesting call last week after a deer managed to break through the glass window of a door into the Mount Lebanon Elementary School.

According to the Lebanon Police Department, the deer broke through at around 10:10am on May 27th, with school staff acting quickly to ensure the safety of both students and personnel. The deer moved through part of the building before eventually being confined to a staff room.

Officers, working alongside a member of the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, managed to capture and safely remove the deer from the building. The animal was then released back into the wild.

The Lebanon Police Department would like to thank school staff, responding personnel, and New Hampshire Fish and Game for their cooperation and quick response in safely resolving the incident.” – Lebanon Police Department.
