Photo printing company Popsa analyzed millions of customer photos using location metadata to rank all 63 national parks by total photo volume. Each park received a photo index score normalized on a scale of 0 to 100, with the most photographed park serving as the benchmark.

The findings show the top of the leaderboard remains largely unchanged from the prior year. The Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, and Yosemite continue to reign supreme, while lesser-known destinations like Crater Lake are gaining ground as travelers seek to avoid overcrowded marquee parks.

Researchers also noted some notable geographic trends. Death Valley has emerged as a predominantly European photography destination, and Utah and California desert parks now form a well-worn road trip circuit for international visitors. Meanwhile, vast Alaskan wilderness parks remain almost entirely absent from the dataset.
