UTAH — Snowbird Ski Resort is throwing in the towel for the 2025/2026 ski season this weekend and they plan on going out in style.
Snowbird will be open this Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-2:00pm and they recommend skiers and snowboarders wear their spring outfit and send out the season with hot laps followed by cool dance moves at Plazapalooza:
“You can keep the party going with drinks at Snowbird’s best après locations, The Forklift and The Tram Club. Or, you can stop disappointing your family and treat the mom in your life to Mother’s Day Brunch between 10:30 am and 4 pm.” -Snowbird
While Snowbird isn’t hosting an official pond skim event, Ski Utah is quick to point out they do have a naturally occurring slush puddle which they have deemed “Utah’s biggest pool party” and you can send it if you dare:
“This season, you showed your true love for the sport. You showed up, even when it felt like summer in the valley in February and woke up extra early on powder days. You proved that skiing, no matter the conditions, is just fun.” -Snowbird
