Fresh off a well below-average winter, the major properties that are part of the Vail Resorts portfolio are preparing for summer operations.

Last week, Vail Resorts announced the summer operating schedule for its mountains in Colorado and Utah. Operations are set to start in May for some golf courses and in June for other attractions. Activities offered include scenic lift rides, hiking, mountain biking, mountain coasters, and tubing.

Epic Pass holders for the 2026-27 season will be able to access a variety of activities at these mountains. Epic passholders get unlimited access to lift and gondola rides, plus discounts on golf, bike rentals, and more. If you didn’t get up to the mountains to ski last winter, going up in the summer to explore is a nice remedy.
