WYOMING – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 3pm MDT Tuesday for the Sierra Madre Range and Snowy Range in southern Wyoming, including the communities of Centennial and Albany, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Forecasters are calling for total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, with locally higher amounts possible at the peaks.

Snowfall has been expected to ease through the morning hours before a second wave moves through this afternoon ahead of the advisory expiration at 3 p.m.
The NWS is warning that outdoor recreation could turn dangerous for those caught unprepared. Hunters, hikers, and snowmobilers are specifically cautioned that low visibility from falling and blowing snow could cause disorientation in the backcountry.
Motorists traveling through the affected areas are advised to slow down and use caution. Current road conditions are available by dialing 511.
