Big Sky is one resort that always goes all out for the end of the season. With a pond skim, seemingly endless musical guests, and magical spring storms, this year is no different. They have Plaza Apres from 3-6 pm every Friday and Sunday throughout the month of April.
To wrap up the season, musical guests will be playing each Saturday. This week they have a DJ set by Tinashe scheduled for April 25th to start closing weekend off right. Admission is free with lift access, but Big Sky has discounted lift tickets this weekend for as low as $81.Â
Sunday is all about enjoying what the season has provided this year. Big Sky has offered these ‘bonus weekends’ after closing during the week on April 12th, and they have seemingly brought mystery storms every time. With a projected 16 inches to fall overnight, Big Sky should be full of fun for its final weekend of the 25/26 season. Â
It’s hard to bid farewell to each season, especially when this one has been underwhelming, but closing days feel special regardless. These days are the true culmination of ski culture, local riders coming out to celebrate their home resort and the fun they had there throughout the season.
