If you’re looking to prove that you’re the strongest skier in the East, head to the Superstar Glacier at Vermont’s Killington Mountain for the Superstar Showdown. The event is set to take place May, 16 and is hosted by Madison Rose and Jim Ryan, they are seeking the most die-hard skiers to compete for a $1,000 cash prize for the Male and Female winners. Those are the only two categories, keeping the competition simple.Â
All it takes to win is logging the most vertical feet on the Superstar lift from 8 am to 4:30 pm, and you can call yourself the most die-hard skier in the East while you walk away with $1000 and new skis or a snowboard.
They also have prizes for 15 and under, 60 and over, and best dressed. If you’re looking to participate, head to the Killington website and register. There’s a $10 entry fee that supports the Mt. Holly Conservation Trust, and will be matched by the Killington Giving Fund. Also, participants can be a part of the Jim & Mads Show season finale.
