Arizona — Despite being one of the southernmost ski areas in North America, Arizona Snowbowl near Flagstaff managed to stay open well into April this season, unlike many of their fellow resorts located in far more northern latitudes. Snowbowl will conclude their 134-day season which began on November 20th, 2025 this Sunday, April 12:

“Come get your last turns of the season with us this Saturday & Sunday! The Arizona Gondola will be spinning with access to advanced terrain only, including 5 trails and a few terrain park features, and the weekend will be packed with live music, retail deals up to 50% off, drink specials, and a Power Pass giveaway on Sunday! To everyone who joined us this winter, thank you! Let’s ride together one more time…we’ll see you up here!”

Their snow cat drivers are working overtime to get the mountain ready for closing weekend and it is looking like a celebration not to be missed:

“As one of the southernmost ski areas in the country, we’re proud to have stayed open into April this season. That reflects the hard work of our team and the support of our guests. We’re grateful to everyone who came out to ski and ride with us this season.” –Angie Grubb, Arizona Snowbowl marketing manager

Lift tickets for closing weekend start at $22, and kids 12 and under ski free. If you are in the area we highly recommend you head on out to Snowbowl and send off the season in style.
