If you’re going to go mountain biking or biking with your dog, you should probably ensure that either A) it’s well trained enough to stay out of your way, or B) you aren’t mountain biking on the edge of a cliff where your dog could push you over the edge.
Cyclist Cecilia Sopeña was riding at the Calblanque Regional Park in Columbia along the edge of a cliff when her dog threw her off balance, causing her to fall and slide a decent distance down the slope before coming to a stop. Both her angle and an angle from her pup were captured on camera.
Cecilia is incredibly lucky that she managed to come to a stop as early as she did, rather than sliding off any major portions of the cliff face. Maybe next time she’ll think twice about bringing her dog along for a ride, at least considering the landscape of where she’ll be biking.
