Utah โ If you’re a college student who’s looking for a cheap place to ski during spring break, one underrated Utah ski resort is offering free skiing.
Last week, Eagle Point Resort announced a new lift ticket deal for college students. Called the March Masters Program, college students get a season pass that’s good Friday through Monday. Those who visit from March 1st through the end of the season can secure a free season pass at Eagle Point. This deal applies to students ages 18 to 26. Lodging is also available for as low as $79 per night.
“We’re inviting college students to master their turns this spring break,” explains Shane Gadbaw, Owner and CEO of Eagle Point Resort. “While mega-resorts battle lift line fatigue, we’re offering an uncrowded, independent, family-owned alternative where students can enjoy uninterrupted runs all day long. Our best conditions of the year are typically in March, and we’re excited to share them with college students everywhere. We hope this creates a spring break they’ll remember for a lifetime.”
This isn’t the only great lift ticket deal that Eagle Point has. Kids 12 and under also ski for free, which is available throughout the season.
About Eagle Point Resort
The ski resort features 44 trails across over 650 skiable acres with 5 lifts. Eagle Point typically operates Friday-Monday, which allows for powder to accumulate during the week. This leads to Powder Fridays, when skiers and riders can secure fresh tracks after a storm. There are also various ways to access the backcountry.
In the summertime, the activities include hiking trails and biking routes. The ski resort is also near state and national parks, such as Bryce Canyon and Zion. Eagle Point is slowly developing a real estate community, with a fitness center added recently. Future plans include a town square and a Nordic spa.
