Kamchatka Peninsula earthquake video

Wild footage from the Kamchatka Peninsula in Russia where a magnitude 7.4 magnitude earthquake kicked up dust clouds that looked like an entire mountainside was on fire.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) occurred as the result of reverse faulting at a depth of about 20 km. The July 20th, earthquake was located approximately 73 km northeast of the 1952 9.0 magnitude Kamchatka earthquake, which resulted in a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami. The U.S. National Tsunami Warning Center initially issued a tsunami watch for the state of Hawaii after the recent quake but cancelled shortly afterwards.

As you can see in the below video the power earthquake shook loose dust on a Cape Zeleny ridge line creating the eery look of a forest fire.
