Whitewater kayaking in Norway.
Whitewater kayaking in Norway.

Check out this sweet short film covering whitewater kayaking in Norway created by Pacific Northwest filmmaker Seth Ezekiel West.

Norway isn’t necessarily the first place you think of when you think of whitewater rafting or whitewater kayaking, but it’s abundant rivers and rapids make it one of the world’s top destinations for the sport. There’s everything from beginner rapids to full blown waterfalls to push the limits.

Filmmaker Seth Ezekiel West spent three weeks documenting several rivers and waterfalls in Norway, covering sections like Lake to Lake Slide, Tysselva Slide, and more.

This video documents a few of the rivers and waterfalls filmed during a three week trip to Norway in June of 2025. Sections (in order of showing) include Lake To Lake Slide, Tysselva Slide, Money Drop, Tunnel to Nosebreaker, and the Ulvaa into the Rauma.”
