Some people just can’t give up their favorite winter activities, and that goes for telemark skiers as much as it goes for regular skiers and snowboarders. Gøril Strøm is a member of the Norwegian Telemark Team, reaching the podium at multiple world cup and world championship events around the world.
This summer she and several other professional telemark skiers took to the water to keep their need for dropping a knee and freeing the heel satisfied. With the help of JestingSport in Oslo, they mounted telemark bindings on water skis and got out on the water, capturing some pretty gnarly wipeouts along the way.
