Wyoming — It’s looking like the ski season at Beartooth Basin is coming to an end sooner than expected.

Last night, Beartooth Basin provided an update on their operating schedule. The Wyoming ski area announced that it will be closing for the season on Sunday, June 15th. Over the next few days, Beartooth Basin will be operating its lifts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Beartooth Basin’s season began on May 28th, following the opening of Beartooth Pass. The Wyoming ski area’s original goal was to make it to July 6th, but it seems like the snowpack melted faster than expected.

The ski area is still for sale. Alternatively, the current ownership group is looking for additional investors. If you’re interested in becoming part of the operation, you can email them at beartoothbasin@gmail.com.
