Mt. Bachelor‘s 2024/25 ski and snowboard season has officially come to an end and the slopes are now uncontrolled and unpatrolled. For the time being, Mt. Bachelor is discouraging recreation on the mountain.
The summer season is expected to begin on June 26 at Mt. Bachelor with a range of summer activities including zip lining, scenic chairlift rides, hiking, and mountain biking. Until then, crews will be working with heavy machinery across the mountain preparing for the reopening. Visitors are asked to stay away from equipment and infrastructure during this time and to call 911 in case of an emergency.
Throughout the month of June, Sun Country Tours will be running rafting trips. Guests can book a multitude of rafting trips in the Bend area, from accessible one-day trips to multi-day adventures.
