Utah’s Solitude Mountain has made the sad decision to end their 2024/25 ski season before the upcoming holiday weekend, noting poor conditions for the closure. Solitude initially hoped to keep skiing and snowboarding on the weekends through Memorial Day, but Mother Nature decided their ski season has come to an end.

The season ended with 420 total inches of snowfall falling on the mountain. The Solitude Bike Park is set to open for the summer on Thursday, June 12. Throughout the warmer months the Utah ski area will offer trail runs, movies, a brew fest, and more. You can find their full summer schedule here.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it one to remember! We kept the lifts spinning as long as we could, but now it’s time to trade snow for dirt. Summer kicks off June 12, see you then!” – Solitude Mountain

With Solitude’s closure, Utah is reduced to just one open ski area. Snowbird is set to celebrate their final days of skiing this upcoming holiday weekend, with final turns running between May 24th through May 26th.
