Like a phoenix from the ashes, Michigan’s Boyne Mountain Resort‘s Victor Glacier is rising once again.

Boyne Mountain Resort was originally set to close up shop for skiing and snowboarding after last weekend, May 17th & 18th, but they’ve just announced plans to keep the party going with a surprise hike park this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, May 24th and 25th.

The surprise hike park will include 4-6 features and be open from 9am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday, continuing the resort’s longest season in history. At this point it appears skiing and snowboarding will be available in the hike park only and no lifts will be spinning.

No news has been released on tickets for this weekend, so make sure to check out their website as Saturday approaches for more information.
