Stowe, Vermont — The past few years at the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa have been memorable, but not in a good way.

In 2024, the Stoweflake Mountain Resort was sold to its second ownership group in around two years. Their tenure didn’t appear to go according to plan, as it ended up being foreclosed on.

In June, an auction will be held by the Thomas Hirchak Company for the Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in Stowe, Vermont. The auction was previously scheduled for this Thursday, but it has been moved back. The property features 116 hotel rooms, a four-bedroom building that serves as a rental residence, and the chance to participate in a rental program with 32 privately owned townhomes. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, a couple of food and beverage outlets, a spa and wellness center, courts for racquet sports, and a nine-hole golf course. The site is also just miles away from Stowe Mountain Resort.

However, the facilities aren’t in the best shape, as the restaurant that served patrons there for years (Charlie B’s) has been closed for a while now. The indoor spa facility is also not currently operational. Recent reviews also suggest that renovations are underway at the hotel. This means that the new owner will have lots of work to do to make this place profitable.
