The ski season might near over, but you shouldn’t be putting your skis or snowboards away quite yet. There are still resorts across the country set to remain open for at least a few more weeks, some potentially longer than a month.
If you’re still hoping to take advantage of your Indy Pass before submitting to your favorite summer hobbies, there’s still four ski areas for you to do so, reaching from the East Coat to the West Coast.
Black Mountain, New Hampshire – May 3
Black Mountain is currently closed, including uphill travel, but will reopen for one final day of skiing and snowboarding on May 3.
Jay Peak Resort, Vermont – TBD
Jay Peak has had a monster season, recording over 470 inches of snow throughout the winter. They don’t have a ski season closing date set, but they area storing snow to return for the Summer Solstice Sessions on June 21st.
Loveland Ski Area, Colorado – May 11
Keeping things going as one of the latest operating ski areas in Colorado, Loveland has seen 305 inches of snow throughout this season. They’ll celebrate closing day on May 11 with springtime laps, an outdoor BBQ, drink specials and live music from LIGEDELIC on the Basin Patio.
Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon – May 3
Closing day is coming up fast at Mt. Hood Meadows. Operations are currently closed throughout this week but will continue once again on Friday for the final two days. The Oregon ski area has seen 461 inches of snow to date.
