The ski season is nearing the end, with ski resorts shutting down their winter operations weekend after weekend while preparing for the switch towards mountain biking, hiking, golfing, and sightseeing.
While we’ll eventually be forced to accept that the season has come to a complete end, there are still ski resorts across North America with spinning lifts. In both the United States and Canada those ski resorts are spread from the East Coast to the West, though there’s only six total open resorts left in Canada.
Alberta
- Lake Louise Ski Resort – May 4
- Marmot Basin – May 4
- Banff Sunshine – May 19
British Columbia
- Whistler Blackcomb – Blackcomb Mountain closes on May 19.
Quebec
- Owl’s Head – Open for one day of Ski Golf on Saturday, May 3.
- Sommets Saint-Sauveur – Friday-Sunday only until closing day on Monday, May 19.
