The 2025 Stanley Cup playoffs are set to begin this weekend with two games scheduled for Saturday, April 19. The Winnipeg Jets will play the St. Louis Blues at 6:00pm ET followed by the Colorado Avalanche against the Dallas Stars at 8:30pm ET.

To celebrate the Colorado Avalanche once again finding their way into the playoffs, the Av’s engineering team rode up to the top of Copper Mountain to paint the Avalanche logo in the snow. There’s no word on exactly how long the logo is meant to stay (with the current snowfall it might already be buried) but hopefully it will last at least until Saturday evening.

If you’re hoping to see the logo for yourself, it’s painted at the top of Atlantic Cornice in Spaulding Bowl and should be visible along Spaulding Ridge. To access it, ride to the top of Excelerator or ride the Storm King t-bar and ski/snowboard down Spaulding Ridge until you find it. Again it may already be covered up by snow, so don’t be surprised if you can’t find it.
