Living With The Elite of St. Moritz

Thinking back on how crazy it is that Ikon Pass added St. Moritz, I was reminded of this moody little gem from a few years back. If you’ve ever lived the ski bum life—scraping by on bar tips, couch surfing, and surviving on day-old pastries—in a resort town built for the ultra-wealthy, this one will hit home.

Directed by Zürich native Kris Lüdi, the short film captures that perfect tension between glamour and grit. It’s a beautifully shot reminder of the quiet resilience (and occasional absurdity) of living in a place dripping with luxury, while barely scraping enough for rent and ramen.

Send this to any current or former dirtbag you know—those who’ve ever dried their gloves on a hostel radiator in the Alps or snuck into a five-star hotel hot tub after last chair. They’ll feel seen.
