With the middle of April rapidly approaching, the ski season is really starting to feel like it’s coming to an end. Several resorts in Colorado, including Telluride and Crested Butte, have already closed for the 2024/25 season, and many more have a closing date coming soon. Don’t panic, there’s still plenty of time to get out on the mountains, but if you hope to ski at one of these four resorts you’d better do it this weekend.
Aspen Highlands: April 13
Aspen Highlands will celebrate closing day on April 13 with parties around the mountain, including what is sure to be some bumping music and dancing at Cloud Nine and specials and a DJ until 4pm at Merry-Go-Round (plus potentially a mechanical bull…). Snowmass and Aspen Mountain both have a few more weekends to go.
Beaver Creek Resort: April 13
Beaver Creek Resort is celebrating those who’ve skied 100 days this season today, April 11, with gifts for all 100 cub members. Sunday is set to be the last day of operation for the resort’s 2024/25 season.
Ski Cooper: April 13
To close out the season, Ski Cooper is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, beginning at 9am. Plus, three golden eggs will include a free 2025/26 season pass. Then on closing day (April 13), Ski Cooper will have live music on the deck from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
Monarch Mountain: April 13
Thanks to some nice late-season snowfall, Monarch Mountain was able to extend their season by a week, bringing their closing date to April 13. For the final weekend of skiing and snowboarding, day tickets will cost just $39.
