“Miracle March” brought some serious snowfall to ski resorts across the western United States, but that doesn’t mean April is treating the ski world any worse. Several ski resorts in Utah have seen some serious snowfall so far this month.

Plenty of snow has fallen in the Cottonwood Canyons over the past 24 hours, bringing about a foot to the area’s ski mountains. Alta was among the biggest winners in North America throughout the time period, seeing 13 inches of now snow. With that their season total is now at 522 inches, just 26 inches from the average annual snowfall.

Both Brighton and Snowbird recorded 10 inches of snow over the past 24 hours. At Brighton, 4 of those inches came overnight, bringing their season total up to 450.5 inches and their base depth up to 111 inches. Brighton tends to average over 500 inches of snow every year, so while 49.5 inches is still a fairly long way off, there’s plenty of time to reach it.

Snowbird, meanwhile, has officially breached 500 inches for the season, with the recent 10 inches bringing their season total up to 506 inches. Just 3 inches fell overnight, but 37 inches of snow have fallen in the past 7 days. Their base depth is now at 131 inches.

Finally, Solitude Mountain recorded 9 inches of snow over the past 24 hours, with 13 inches falling in the past 2 days and 24 inches in the past 3 days. Their season total has now reached 390 inches, a good chunk below the 500 inch snowfall mark. 56 of 82 trails are currently open at the Utah ski resort.
