It hasn’t been an incredibly deep past 24 hours for most ski areas across North America, but that doesn’t mean it’s been completely unsuccessful. For those in the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia, the past few days have been solid with a decent amount of snow coming to the ground. But only two resorts saw more than a foot of new snow over the past 24 hours.

Mt. Baker, Washington – 16 inches

Adding to their already deep ski season, Mt. Baker in Washington recorded 16 inches of new snow over the past 24 hours, and 12 inches of new snow since yesterday. The Heather Meadows snow base now sits at 174 inches while the Pan Dome base sits at 194 inches.

Grouse Mountain, British Columbia – ~12.6 inches

One of Vancouver’s closest ski areas, Grouse Mountain, recorded a solid 32cm (~12.6 inches) of new snowfall in the past 24 hours, with 23cm (~9 inches) in the past 12 hours and 16cm (~6.3 inches) falling overnight. Grouse has now seen a total of ~259 inches (657cm) of snowfall this season and has a peak depth of ~111 inches (281 cm).
