A verbal dispute at Arapahoe Basin led to a harassment summons after one man dented another’s car with his car door.

According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, the verbal dispute began after one man hit the other man’s car with his car door, with the damage causing man becoming hostile when the other tried to take a photo of his license plate.

The man who caused the damage apparently slapped the other man’s phone out of his hand and refused to exchange insurance information. He then drove away, but multiple witnesses corroborated the story and Sheriff deputies determined there was enough evidence to give the man a summons for harassment.

The man was later contacted by phone and he agreed to pick up his summons later in the week.
