Veronica Paulsen at the Kings & Queens of Corbet's.

Jackson Hole‘s 2025 Kings & Queens of Corbet’s was full of some truly unbelievable runs, from massive stomps to wild wipeouts. And while the best/most successful runs were recognized through the Kings & Queens title, the People’s Choice Award occasionally highlights other types of success.

Veronica Paulsen didn’t quite land her trick, but that doesn’t mean she didn’t deserve to win the People’s Choice Award. Her massive double backflip attempt, which left her off the skis for a few weeks and working on physical therapy, was nothing short of a huge send. She absolutely deserved the recognition she got.

On the men’s side, Tristen Lilly more or less broke physics when he twisted his way into Corbet’s Couloir. He wound up in third for the men’s ski category, as we wiped out towards the end of his run, but his incomprehensible trick was easily my personal favorite of the even.

Pretty wild stuff. I certainly can’t wait to see what’s in store for the 2026 Kings & Queens of Corbet’s.
