Professional skier Ian McIntosh had one of the most terrifying crashes we’ve ever seen while filming for TGR’s Paradise Waits in the Neacola range of Alaska. After losing a ski he fell over 1,600 feet in under a minute, cartwheeling down the mountain at a blistering pace.
The fall easily could have left him seriously injured or worse, but McIntosh pulled his airbag before the fall really got going. That move possibly prevented trauma injuries as he tumbled down the mountain.
The video is wild, but the audio is pretty hard to listen to. We’re glad he made it out of the crash in a decent state.
