Shiffrin celebrates her 83rd World Cup win in 2023.

On Sunday, February 23, Mikaela Shiffrin became the first skier ever to reach 100 FIS Alpine World Cup victories in the slalom event at Sestriere, Italy. She took first place, beating Croatia’s Zrinka Ljutic by just .61 seconds.

The victory marks an incredible milestone, solidifying Shiffrin as what can only be described as the greatest alpine ski racer of all time. To celebrate the win, FIS Alpine shared a video focusing on the highlights of her career, ranging from her first World Cup win in 2012, to her record smashing wins in 2023, to her 100th win this past weekend.

Huge congrats to Shiffrin. We certainly can’t wait to see how many more she has in store for the world.
