Had either of these snowmobilers wound up caught in this large avalanche, things could have been real bad. Fortunately the guy in front was able to ride out of it and the guy behind was able to stop before getting in the path.
Snowmobiler Muskoka Freerider captured this footage while riding in Canada. Truly a stunning landscape, but avalanche risks are always present in the backcountry, and the terrain made sure these guys knew that.
If you’re going to travel in avalanche terrain, make sure you have the proper training and gear to do so in addition to reading the avalanche forecast for your specific area.
