Soldier Mountain.
Soldier Mountain.

Soldier Mountain in Idaho has a message to all of you skiers and snowboarders who are sick of sitting in unbelievably long lift lines and dealing with overcrowded ski resorts: “fresh powder is closer than you think.”

A recent video shared to their social media aims to show just how uncrowded Soldier Mountain is, creating a compilation of long lift lines and chaotic rope drops from around the country before highlighting the beautiful untouched powder found at the Idaho mountain.

Soldier Mountain is only open Thursday through Sunday throughout this winter, meaning the snow just builds up throughout the week. Plus, if you aren’t much of a lift rider, Soldier has a backcountry cat skiing option to really find that untouched powder.
