A relaxing hot tub moment turned violent in Keystone last week after three roommates got into a full fight that led to one getting arrested.

According to the Summit County Justice Files, which reports notable police activity to the community of Summit County, Colorado, one of the roommates pulled a knife out and threatened one of the other roommates, holding it to his throat. In an attempt to save his own life, the threatened roommate punched the man with the knife and put him into a chokehold.

The original knife wielding man, while in the chokehold, briefly lost consciousness. When to came to the three men separated, and the man with the knife told the others that he’d be back and left.

In the meantime, the other two roommates called 911. The knife wielding roommate had at some point sustained a knife wound to his leg and didn’t remember the fight at all when spoken to by deputies. He was brought to St. Anthony Summit Hospital for treatment.

The next day, after being released from the hospital, the knife-wielding roommate was taken into custody for multiple charges including assault and felony menacing. He was taken to the Summit County Detention Facility without incident.
