Quebec’s Parc Omega, not too far from Ottawa , offers an overnight experience unlike any other. The safari park is home to a host of animals, from bears to bison, deer, moose, and elk, with a drive-through experience allowing visitors to take a good look at all of them. But their most unique experiences are the wolf lodges, allowing visitors to spend the night right next to actual wolves.
With multiple options depending on the size you’re looking for, Parc Omega’s wolf lodges feature massive glass windows that face directly into the park’s wolf enclosure. Through that window, guests can watch and hear the wolves as they wander right by, often seeming equally curious at the presence of humans.
The park offers three different lodge options, a ~560 sq. ft. option, a ~1248 sq. ft. option, and a ~1356 sq. ft. option. The smallest option is big enough for 4 people with 2 queen sized beds, while the middle sized option includes 2 queen beds and 2 singles to fit 6 people. The largest option has room for 8 with 3 queen beds and 2 singles. All options include a BBQ area with an outdoor fire pit and large windows looking towards the wolves.
Of course as these are wild animals, the guests cannot open any of the windows that look into the enclosure and all encounters with the wolves is through a glass window. If this sounds like something that you’d be interested in, you can learn more here.
