Cheers to Brooklyn Boulders in Chicago who are celebrating their 10th anniversary as the Windy City’s first dedicated climbing gym. Back in 2014, they saw the potential in an unoccupied office building and parking lot in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood and transformed it into a 25,000 square foot indoor climbing paradise featuring 50 foot climbing walls, multiple bouldering walls, a full on gym and an active co-working space for folks to get a bit of work done when their arms are on fire. It’s an incredible facility and well worth checking out even if you’re just in town for a few days.
They commemorating their 10th birthday with a party on December 13th that is not to be missed. Festivities will include a Do or Dyno Competition, live tattooing, amazing food and a petting zoo with a special appearance by a real live sloth.
