Alyeska Resort in Alaska is set to kick off the 2024/25 ski season on Friday, November 29, with a season pass holder day. Valued pass holders will gain access to the lifts from 12pm to 4pm.
Opening day will include Bear Cub Quad & Chair 7. Then on Saturday, November 30, Alyeska open to all, including those without season passes. The Stizmark Bar & Grill will open at 11am, serving food, drinks, and hot chocolate to those who need it.
“We know you all have been anticipating the start of another exciting Alaskan winter & we appreciate your patience as we prepare & setup our mid to upper mountain terrain. Keep an eye on our Mountain Report (link in bio) to stay up to date on conditions & available terrain!” – Alyeska Resort
Chair 3 Road, Christmas Run, Sitzmark, & Blueberry Hill are already all groomed and ready for opening day, though it isn’t clear if they’ll all be open on the 30th. The resort already has a snow depth of 44″ at the summit and 26″ in the middle of the mountain, and they’ve already seen 115″ inches fall to the ground this season.
